Shawnell Fleck

Shawnell Fleck is the Primary I Assistant at Lake Hills Montessori. She has her B.A. in Communications and a minor in Public Relations. She is also certified to teach in public schools for Early Childhood – 4th grade education, ESL, and Speech. Before substituting in Austin public schools for a year she taught English in Japan to Japanese high school students. She has a tremendous love for children and places a high standard on learning even in this young classroom. She enjoys teaching this age more than she ever thought possible and is amazed everyday by what the children accomplish. She is planning to pursue her Montessori certification in the year to come! In her free time she enjoys running, bike riding, reading, and everything Austin has to offer!
